MULTIPLEXERS

Microphase is an unquestioned leader in the area of microwave multiplexers. Multiplexers can be designed to operate over a very broadband frequency range of DC to 40GHz in package types including surface mount, through hole mount and connectorized. They are designed as a bi-directional device that either separates or combines frequency bands to a common port.

Our experienced engineers and designers possess the knowledge and experience to aid in the design and manufacturing to complete projects cost effectively. We can provide you with timely prototypes as well as full production runs.

The Comb-Line Multiplexers
The Comb-Line Multiplexers are diplexers, triplexers and quadruplexers. These designs yield frequency coverage of 2.0 to 26.0 GHz providing a wide range of options for bandwidth and crossover frequencies. These designs provide excellent electrical performance, environmental stability and mechanical reliability. They are as efficient as they are cost effective.

Narrow Band Multiplexers
Narrow Band Multiplexers features stable and precise crossover frequencies with extended stopband performance in a small size. They are available in various options such as Cavity Diplexer, Triplexer, Quadruplexer; and greater number of bands.

ADVANTAGES: The main advantages of the Microphase-designed and engineered Narrow Band Multiplexers are their stable and precise crossover frequencies with narrow crossover regions, ultra small size and extended stopband performance. Other important advantages are their sharp selectivity, low insertion loss and VSWR, with the capability of contiguous or non-contiguous crossovers. They feature excellent electrical performance, mechanical reliability and environmental stability. These compact units can be adapted for custom specifications. Lightweight and very rugged, all products are 100% reliability screened, and readily available.

Wide Band Multiplexers
The Microphase low profile contiguous channel Wide Band Multiplexer Series is available over the 0.5 to 40.0 GHz range and offers a number of features. Compact and lightweight, all models are 0.400" thin; yet product performance is not compromised. They offer superior electrical performance, excellent frequency stability and are ultra small in design.

ADVANTAGES: Any combination of twelve standard crossover frequencies from 1 to 34 GHz may be selected to achieve broadband multiplexing as required. With this design flexibility multiplexing is easily achieved for the most popular EW bands from 0.5 to 40.0 GHz. Band edge rejection options are available and all units may be adapted for custom configurations. Microphase wide band multiplexers achieve excellent electrical performance, mechanical reliability and environmental stability. Compact and very rugged, all products are 100% tested and readily available.

Dual Quadruplexer
The Dual Quadruplexer is used to separate two independent 2 to 18 GHz signals into four sub-octave bands while maintaining phase and amplitude tracking. This is used for EW applications and is extremely small in size. This unit has superior tracking capabilities and is designed for low insertion loss and harmonic rejection.

ADVANTAGES: The Microphase-designed and engineered Dual Quadruplexer provides low insertion loss, harmonic rejection and superior phase and amplitude tracking in an extremely small sized package. Receive excellent electrical performance, mechanical reliability and environmental stability. Compact and rugged, all products are 100% tested, fully productized and readily available.

Lumped Element Multiplexers
Lumped element (Coil and Capacitors) are used where extremely small size is required in the 2 GHz and below frequency range.

ADVANTAGES: The main advantage of the Lumped Element Multiplexers are their small size and flexibility in achieving virtually any combination of diverse frequency bands required. This includes wide, narrow, contiguous or separated passbands with elliptical, Chebychev or other filter response types all in a very compact package available connectorized or as a surface mount or drop in package.

Frequency Channelizers
The Microphase Frequency Channelizers with narrow; contiguous frequency windows utilize isolated power division to feed multiplexing manifolds, interlacing odd and even-channel filter clusters. This allows flexibility in the choice of design functions-i.e. number of channels and bandwidth, selectivity, interchannel isolation and crossover characteristics. For example, adjacent channels may be designed to cross over at any relative amplitude, including overlap. Channel-insertion losses are internally equalized to offset cumulative manifold losses.

ADVANTAGES: The main advantage of the Microphase-designed and engineered Frequency Channelizers is their superior electrical performance. The low profile channelizer employs stripline power divider and drop-in circulators to feed four combine-filter quadruplexers. Other important advantages are its sharp selectivity, excellent frequency flatness, with the capability of contiguous or non-contiguous crossover. You get excellent electrical performance, mechanical reliability and environmental stability. These units can be adapted for custom configurations. Lightweight, compact and very rugged, all of our products are 100% reliability screened, and readily available.
